Tiger 6kw Multi Fuel Stove
When it comes to a fireplace, there is nothing that quite matches the warmth and beauty of a real fire. Though most fireplaces are made to host open fires, it is a fact that multi fuel stoves are a great deal more heat efficient. With a cast iron log and coal burner, the heat comes from the cast iron, which acts as a radiator as it gets warm with the fire.
An open fire lets about 80% of the heat escape right up your chimney and leaves 20% in your living room. Those numbers are literally put into reverse with a multi fuel stove, leaving around 80% of the heat in your living room. Because it is Multi-Fuel, as opposed to many other stoves it is suitable for burning seasoned wood, anthracite, coal and many other solid fuels.
A standard sized living room would usually need around 5-7 kilowatts of heat output, which is why our models of around this kilowatt rating are our most popular by far.
The Tiger Multi Fuel Stove has a nominal kilowatt rating of 6KW.
This stove is also DEFRA APPROVED, which is an essential feature for any stove if you live in a smokeless zone (essentially all of the densely populated areas of the country).
Here you can see the Tiger Stove with the addition of a Europa Log Store, which is fitted to the bottom in much the same way as the legs would. This option is available to add at the top of the page.
