Solaris Brass
This model of the Solaris has an antique brass finish on the frame.
It has a class 1, open fronted convector and a manual slide control For the heat output, which goes up to 4KW in temperature. Convector fires offer a great deal more efficiency when it comes to heat output, than an open fire. The open fronted feature gives you a nice view of the coal fuel bed feature and the fire, while retaining the efficient heat output.
The brass frame is perfect to pair with any traditional looking living room and because the Solaris Brass is a gas fire, only a gas safe liner would be needed for the install, which is a great deal cheaper than most. Also, because the Kilowatt rating is below 5KW, a ventilation brick would not be required as a part of your install.

The most common size of fireplace openings in the UK is 16” wide x 22” high. Most gas and electric fires are designed to fit into this size of fireplace opening subject to any depth restrictions. However most manufacturers either have a shallow or deep version of their fires or a spacer kit to decrease the fire depth by making it semi inset or fully outset in the case of electric fires or flueless gas fires.
